Belchester FC win top match – MW7 Recap
The anticipation of the fans ahead of this weekend was big and the teams did not disappoint!
To kick the match week off, Tongaat Suburbs welcomed Collegians FC. After an early goal for Tongaat Suburbs FC, Collegians FC quickly took control and turned the game, ultimately winning and in doing so becoming the first PMB team to win in Tongaat this season.
As second match of the day we had a real spectacle, with PMB Rangers almost causing an upset against New Era FC, however, the team of Vinay Sookdhoo showed their class and secured the three points.
The early evening game did not hold any surprises, first placed Ethekwini City FC did what they were expected to do against last placed Young Colonials and won with 17 goals to 3.
To finish the evening off, Belchester FC and Maritzburg Hotspurs gave the fans a goal galore, with a constant change in leads. Ultimately Belchester FC claimed the victory in this 20-goal thriller, winning 11 goals to 9.
